"Leaders are supposed to lead." There was a scenario
last year involving E.C. Central Boys Basketball Coach Alaa Mrouch. Allegations
of sexual harassment charges against his Asst. Basketball Coach who was
ultimately fired weeks before the sectionals were to start. Ronnie Edmonds took
his spot. God loves the 3 girls who had the courage to make a police report. The
case is now working its way through the Lake County Court System as of this
writing. TBC.
How many teachers in the last 10 years have gotten in
trouble for sexually harassing kids? Seems like it’s happened a number of
times. Central High apparently has a culture where it’s open season on our
girls. What’s
the school board doing about it? What about training and prevention? Seems like
all some school board members worry about getting their buddies' contracts and
using their school board positions to run for City Council.
