The
last bastion of hope in our community is supposed to be our local police
department. This entails that transparency is the number one priority with East
Chicago P.D. if we are truly a city of law and order. There have been
allegations that Luis Arcuri was suspended for 3 years with payback in the day.
It is often said "that leaders lead" and time for Chief Rivera to
follow this mantra. The people from East Chicago are from Missouri "the
show me state". Time for Mayor Copeland to get off that fence and
intercede. After all, he was the one who signed off on Arcuri getting that
"white shirt” knowing his history. P.S. WJOB is quiet as a mouse peeing on
cotton.
