At Street Level - Went to Gary Clerk's office looking for police report that woman filed vs Cozy Washington for pouring water in her gas tank. The case was on radar screen because it took like 7 years to be adjudicated. My conclusion is that Cozy had just been elected Gary City Councilman & this case might have come up in the vetting process involving Cozey thus he finally took care of this misdemeanor that lingered for years? Street was told by the gal @clerks that she would have to ask her boss if her boss would honor my public records request. My reasoning is that I was looking to get her name & see if she might know the name of another woman who had another incident with Cozy that was crazy. (Source had told might me about incident involving a woman who was seeing Cozy & another Gary Politico @ the same time. Cozy allegedly went to this woman's house but discovered that another Gary Politico was there & Cozy was pissed. Allegedly the next day Cozy went to a particular woman's house & set the garage on fire. Later source told me that Cozy did make restitution for garage to be fixed etc.). This is why Street filed public records request on that misdemeanor case for pouring water in this woman’s gas tank. Wanted to see if she knew the name of woman who had her garage allegedly torched by Cozy. But they refused to give me a copy of the Police report much to my chagrin.
P.S. Sources had told me that Weatherspoon had issues with other women. A. Dilworth when she worked for him when he ran Gary Youth Services. B. Woman who wanted to open a dog park in the 2nd.District where Weatherspoon was councilman @ the time. These allegations we're common knowledge among councilmen @icos according to sources.
