Councilman Robert Garcia E.C. Street is telling  Michelle there might be some fireworks at the next Lake County Board of Elections Meeting. Garcia allegedly is filing a complaint vs Mayor Copeland. In the last election, Garcia found himself facing complaints. “Lil Baby can talk boss. Street from Missouri. so you got to show me." Message to Garcia. TBC- Copeland might be dealing with a cover-up.     Able to go and convince a state worker to give me a hand. She did a 4-year audit of the Clerk's Office in Crown Point. This showed the gap between the county and the state. Monies from Forfeiture Bail Money. Money that is targeted for the "Common School Fund."

    Entry point - Street has been bird-dogging a story about a "water hole" in the Lake County Clerk's Office, Forfeiture Bail Money. The Clerk's Office never got a clean bill of health from prior SBOA audits during Mike Brown's first 2 terms as clerk. Then he sat out four years working at the Clerk’s office. TBC.

    Bochinche. The Times did a story on a Lake County Clerk's Office employee who stole $2,300.00 from the clerk's office. But the source is better than the government check tells me. "The supervisor who flagged the theft took it to Mike Brown. She was demoted, took a $12,000 pay cut, and transferred from Crown Point to Hammond. TBC.
