At Street Level. Back story for the "Boyz" in Iowa.
At Street Level. The Times "pee-pee" on
this because Gilbert Bonilla was not a gang member. So now the newspaper told
us who was the protagonist & who was an antagonist in this scenario. Street
recalled a story about Gilbert Bonilla during my research. Seems as though
there was this shot caller. Fat Cat asked Gilbert to roll with The IGs, &
Gilbert said no. Fat Cat then cracked Gilbert's head open with a baseball bat. Street
took this story to Angel Bonilla & asked him if he remembered this
particular part. Angel Bonilla tells me that he remembers Youngstown Steel paid
the hospital bill. That is why Angel felt hurt by the gang member reference in
the newspaper. "Dirty him up a lil bit." Source alleges the newspaper
wrote a retraction later about Gilbert Bonilla not being a gang member. "His
teachers came to his funeral. And if he was a gang member, the teachers would
not have come. They know who the gang members are." This is Angel Bonilla
the father giving me "good stuff".
P.s. - Pabey was the good guy, & Bonilla was the bad guy. Cop kills gang member.
