At Street Level. "This is what Street

Riding the E.C. Bus transit. Chief Becker came
by himself, & Street picked up on it. "Chief you come out in the
street with no backup, showing some "stones" boss, "Street told
him. Becker had some politicians in him. "I got you with me," Jefe
Becker tells me with a sheepish grin. "Easy on the butter." Street
teases him.
At Street Level. We were on Main & Broadway
when "Pound" approached Chief Becker. "Shine them up?" He
cut into Jefe Becker. "Yeah, shine them up boss," Street interceded. Jefe
Becker left a 5-dollar tip, K?
Becker breaking bread & "The
Sal". Had done the street stuff, & Street wanted to take it to the
next level. "You should top it off with lunch @ the Sal," This is me
suggesting. "Let's go," Jefe gave me one of those answers that was
fast, quick,& in a hurry. And he left a twenty-dollar tip. Strange how a
senior came up to him & wanted to give him some intel on who was doing what
@ senior citizen building next door. Chief told her to hold on but needed to
stay back on this part. "This what a straight shooter looks like."
Jefe Becker was protecting her to make sure they didn't talk about her. I saw Miss So &So talking to the Poe, Poe. This you had to be Kool about it.
Chief Becker with the bus driver on West
Calumet Route. Takes you to Ameristar Casino by the lakefront. A Bus Rider in
the back hollered out to Chief Becker. "Chief loan me 20 dollars," She
asked him while the bus approached Casino. “Don’t have no money, my wife got it
all, "Jefe Becker yelled back. It brought out a healthy laugh from the
people on the bus. Street took mental notes.
At Street Level. Without Chief Becker, there
would be no ballgame Boyz & Girlz. He can play humble if he wants, &
Street is good with that. The people from East Chicago are really from Missouri
& want to see a lil something. Enter stage door left is a Retired FBI agent
who was part of GRIT Task Force based out of Gary. The former East Chicago
Chief of Police got #85-18660 to Quantico. "It's been played with"
were the infamous words from Chief Becker.
