At Street Level 307

Today is 9-19-24, & we may have found a crack in Luis Wilson's case. (Don Cooley, an FBI agent used to tell me, "All we need is a crack".) A source better than a government check tells me that Ernest Hagler was a Lt. in 1996 when they found Luis Wilson hanging in a jail cell. In an editorial from The Times which follows this update, they mention how The Wilson family wasn't allowed to look @  a police report from the Luis Wilson case. This provided with the impetus to me to seek out Luis Wilson's police report. Bare in mind, that #85-18660 Police Report from Gilbert Bonilla homicide was tampered with. Or @  least my contention. Buckle up Chief Rivera because we will be requesting Luis Wilson's police report, you feel me? "You're starting something, Street," Retired Poe-Poe told me. "I'm not starting something. Street gonna finish something." Was my response.

At Street Level 305

There was a Lt. who was in charge of evidence @ E.C. Poe-Poe. Seems that a batch of cocaine turned up missing in a case involving a gang member which allowed the gang member to beat the drug case. The irony is that the cocaine found its way back to the evidence room. Source alleges the gang member knew Lt. was dirty, & Lt. was scared that said gang member would drop a dime on him. Thus, the motivation for losing cocaine. "I bet you if Lt. was still alive he could tell y'all about what happened to Luis Wilson." He tells me. P.S. The Lt. kept his job but lost his take-home car, straight days and weekends off.

At Street Level 304

This story of Luis Wilson took a left turn after Street started to bird-dog this case. The company line from E.C. Poe-Poe was that Luis Wilson hung himself with shoelaces from ankle-high hiking boots. His family disagrees & thinks the police used excessive force on him, leading to his death, and that a cover-up is in progress. Luis Wilson was discovered dead at about 11:15 p.m. The family was not informed until 7in the morning. (This was material in an editorial by Bill Nangle in The Times). Police said they made several calls to the family during the night, but the family says the caller I.D. at their house showed no calls from E.C. Poe-Poe. Plus, the family was not allowed to look @ the body until after the autopsy. This coupled with the fact that the family wasn't allowed to view the police report? Thus, providing the impetus for me to investigate this case that has overtones of a cover-up. The bottom line is in 2002. Mrs. Wilson filed a lawsuit vs. E.C. Poe-Poe & came away with $400,000, Boyz& Girlz. Rosie, just letting you know, that Street is investigating your brother's death. "My brother had 8 kids, & a good job. That stuff about him hanging himself is bullshit!" Can still hear Rosie telling me. P.S. "Frank Alcala was Chief of Poe-Poe when this went down. Called him twice but he never got back to me. TBC.
