When
Mrvan Jr. was North Township Trustee, his father had a friend whose son was
fired from Hammond P.D. Mrvan Jr. made a deal with Mayor Pabey to hire his
daughter at the trustee's office. Pabey would hire fired Hammond Poe-Poe. But
then the FBI started to investigate Mayor Pabey. Fearing exposure, Mrvan Jr.
let the daughter go.
Met
with Marc Chase at Burger King in Munster to discuss this potential quid pro
quo. Chase did nothing.
Chase
was more worried about a Columnist at The Times who was coming to work at 9 am
with alcohol on his breath. " I wrote him up and sent it upstairs, but
nothing was done," Chase lamented. The headline in today's Times motivated
this update.
"Mrvan
Speaks Out."
