It wasn’t
too long ago we did a Mother’s Day Show that provided a radio moment like no
other. Had a woman tell us how her mother was riding in a bus in Alabama when
she sees a guy on the bus who would turn out to be her husband. “He told my
mother if you’re on this bus next week. I’m gonna marry you.” And wouldn’t you
know it. The next week he sees her on the bus. Yes, they did get married.
This
Saturday it would be great to have this this same woman call the show and share
a story about what kind of guy her father was. Inviting all callers to “Lift up”
their father this Saturday. WLTH 1370AM (We love the Hood and the people who
make up the hood. “Don’t meet me there, beat me there.”
Legend has
it that J.J. the DJ used to say this on WLTH 1370AM back in the day.
