     This team made it to the "Final Four" that year. It wasn't a home game if Bill Passmore in the house.

 

Anecdotal Story 

 

     Sam Arzumanian went to visit Kenny in Arizona one time back in the day. Kenny was playing basketball @ Arizona not baseball. They were in the kitchen when Sam saw some letters on the kitchen table.

      "Are they from the NBA," Sam probed.

     "No, they want me to play baseball," Kenny told told him.

     And the rest was history.

     The other night some cat walks into a pizza joint around 10pm. He is told there is no more. So he leaves the pizza joint and returns later and fires 20 gunshot into the pizza joint. Then he's gone. My beef is that this shooter had no fear of getting caught in East Chicago. 

      Last year, an 8 year-old girl caught a stray bullet that killed her. Her house was shot up 2 weeks prior to the fatal shooting that left her dead. That shooter didn't fear getting caught in East Chicago either. (TBC)

It wasn’t too long ago we did a Mother’s Day Show that provided a radio moment like no other. Had a woman tell us how her mother was riding in a bus in Alabama when she sees a guy on the bus who would turn out to be her husband. “He told my mother if you’re on this bus next week. I’m gonna marry you.” And wouldn’t you know it. The next week he sees her on the bus. Yes, they did get married.

This Saturday it would be great to have this this same woman call the show and share a story about what kind of guy her father was. Inviting all callers to “Lift up” their father this Saturday. WLTH 1370AM (We love the Hood and the people who make up the hood. “Don’t meet me there, beat me there.”

Legend has it that J.J. the DJ used to say this on WLTH 1370AM back in the day.

First of all, Kamala Harris shouldn’t have told Lester Holt that she has already been to the border and nip it in the bud, but she acted shaky. Come on, you’re a former Attorney General and a Senator, and  you blinked when Lester Holt asked her if she was going to the border? She laughed and got snippy with the remark about she hasn’t gone to Europe, etc.  

Kamala Harris was a part of Team Biden who refused to take the border crisis as a major problem. McAllen, Texas, a border town was so fed up with the onslaught of immigrants. They elected a Republican mayor who defeated a Democrat who owned that office for eons. Vice-President tries to sell us “pie in the sky” of helping Mexico and Guatemala build up their economy, etc; etc.

Where the thieves who run the country will steal millions of dollars destined for economic development?
