At Street Level. US Attorney David Capp allegedly told E.C. Chief of Poe-Poe not to bring him any cases with Arcuri's name on them. (Chief Frank Smith was brought in as Chief of Police because Mayor Copeland wanted a black chief, okay?). Talked with a Poe-Poe who shared his wisdom with me. "If you were having heart surgery Street would you want a Mexican doctor or the best doctor no matter what color?" Just took notes knowing this anecdote would appear in my update. Ultimately, Chief Frank Smith lasted long enough for a cup of coffee & was removed as chief. Mayor Copeland went into hiding for like four days licking his wounds. Enter the stage door left by Chief Jose Rivera. In the article in Saturday's The Times we read the following: "He said he does not have the dates of Arcuri's suspensions," Quote from Chief Rivera. Yet, with a paid suspension covering more than 2 years, Mayor Copeland still promoted Arcuri to Commander. (For the tourist out there Street nicknamed Copeland Jackie like Jackie Robinson. This was right after Don Cooley told me, "Mayor Pabey is going down from a small virus." Jackie struck out on this one)Wonder what kind of horse trading Arcuri made in federal court? At Street Level - It was around April Street visited the E.C.P.D. looking for answers. Sources had told me about allegations of sexual harassment case @ E.C. Central H.S. "Bernie Carter won't release police report." This is Chief Rivera responding to my inquiry for the police report. The takeaway @ least was there was a police report out there, you feel me? Then a member of the E.C. School Board told me of 2 other alleged sexual harassment cases of students @ Central H.S.(But we're in August & students start school tomorrow Monday. School Board Members were not forthcoming with any names. Still no police report. And this school board member is up for reelection this year.)Back story. I texted a teacher about the allegations, & it didn't really get his attention. It wasn't until  I got his attention later in an update on my blog. An assistant basketball coach @ Central H.S. was let go @ midseason & replaced by Ronnie Edmonds. Plus, the fact, that the allegation spoke to there being 4 students allegedly being sexually harassed @ E.C. Central H.S. "I thought there was only one student in the allegation, not four," Teacher texted me. P.S. And now allegations of a "bad actor" @ Gary P.D.?

P.S. Homeland Security Investigations is allegedly looking @Gary Poe-Poe.

At Street Level. "My beef with Mayor Eduardo Melton." A situation has been brewing for weeks involving Gary’s Poe-Poe with allegations that put Homeland Security in this scenario.  And Gary P.D. Chief of Police quieter than a "church mouse peeing on cotton". The local newspaper was told to take a walk. Melton & Company M.I.A. Everybody is presumed innocent until proven guilty. But @ least acknowledge there were potential problems!
