At Street Level. These two skated on a case that involved guns that should have been felonies. And Raggs considered running for state office while Brewer did file to run for state office. “Gunlock initiative seeks to prevent shootings" was an article in The Times that almost made me puke my "chorizo con juevos".

Hello, 

 

I will be eternally grateful for anything that has been covered up to finally be revealed. The clarification of what really happened on the sad night of October 31, 1985. It was said that my brother Gilberto was shot in self-defense. I never understood how someone 5’10” could be shot through the neck when he was up against the wall being patted down. Why my brother's body had to be searched for? I know it’s been 37 years, but Gilberto has never been forgotten.

 

My dad will be 91 years old next week and we still share stories about him. My prayers have always been for my dad and our family to get the truth and explanation of what happened. I prayed many times to the Lord that the information be given to us while my dad can still see the light of day.

 

Gilbert was a sweet, gentle, loving caring, son, brother, friend, student, and uncle. He spent the last days of his last summer and weekends walking around with my son Xavier in the stroller. He was portrayed as a gang member, and I would have never allowed him to walk around with my son if this was true.

 

At my brother's funeral, my dad was offered condolences by many of his teachers who attended the viewing. So many friends and neighbors also attended. The saddest part of the funeral was when Xavier not even 2 years old tried to get in the coffin with my brother. Thinking of Gilberto it is still emotional and brings tears. He left us too soon at the age of 17.

 

In revealing every detail of that night 10-31-1985 our family can finally have some peace in knowing that this cold case cover-up has now come out of darkness and the truth can be divulged. May his name be cleared once and for all. Gilberto “The Baby” will always live on in our wonderful memories. He will continue to be missed in all our family events.

 

Again thank you for all that you do. Technology has come a long way. May the evidence disclose many unanswered questions. Your time is greatly appreciated!!!

At Street Level. Marc getting "fresh art" while 3 Letter Boyz rolling on Mary Elgin. Street got a photo of Marc Chase taking photos. "Nobody can get a hold of Marc Chase," Guy with juice tells me. Street sent this photo to Corporate in Iowa, & Chase got back to me fast, quickly, & in a hurry. That's why they call me StreetWise. This other photo was creating "fresh art" for my blog.

 

 

Street Continues. "Yeah, heard you talked to Marc Chase, Street?" Source asked me over breakfast. "Yes sir, mister, that Marc Chase oversees 77 newspapers now." Yup, we got history. (TBC).

 

At Street Level. Flashback to when Marc Chase was researching The Gilbert Bonilla Homicide, and he intimated the following: George Pabey, Attorney Ned Ruff, & Carmen Fernandez, another lawyer, were in Munster meeting with Bill Nangle. They were saying that The Bonilla Family wanted to move on & didn't want the story to come out in the paper. It was StreetWise who was pushing the story etc., etc. Marc Chase knew better because Angel Bonilla gave him a copy of the coroner’s report on Gilbert Bonilla's Homicide. This time around Street asked the sister Maria the sister to tell her side.
